Some machines have a dedicated clean cycle, special valve steps, removable sensors, or model-specific chemical quantities. The general Nu-Calgon sequence does not override those instructions.

Safety requirements#

NSF’s certificate identifies Nickel-Safe Ice Machine Cleaner under registration number 167335 in category A3. This category covers an acid cleaner used in and around food-processing areas where use is not intended for direct food contact.
