Commercial Ice Machine Cleaning Kit Checklist
Service docket
A useful cleaning kit is a controlled set of compatible supplies, not a generic bundle. Start with the exact machine manual and current chemical labels.
Chemical and safety controls#
Include only permitted cleaner chemistry and a separate sanitizer when required. Keep original labels and safety data. Never mix chemicals. Use dedicated measuring containers and any test method required by the sanitizer label.
Select non-damaging brushes and the protective equipment required by the safety data. Store food-contact tools and chemicals to prevent contamination.
Procedure control#
The kit must support shutdown, ice disposal, disassembly, cleaning, rinsing, sanitizing, reassembly, and disposal of the first ice when required. Record the service date, chemicals, measured concentrations, and observations.
Reject a bundle if its contents, availability, labels, or machine compatibility cannot be verified. Assemble a documented site-specific kit or use a qualified service provider.
